The best-selling scooter in Thailand earned that title for a reason.

Light, low, and easy to handle — the Scoopy was made for island roads. It slips through traffic, parks anywhere, and never asks for attention. You forget it's even there until you need it.

No experience required. Twist the throttle and go — that's literally all there is to it. Under the seat fits a helmet, a beach bag, and a grocery run from 7-Eleven. Fifteen years on the market, and the Scoopy hasn't changed its recipe — still the simplest, most reliable ride you can get.

Picture this: morning coffee in Rawai, a quick ride to Kata Beach, lunch at a hillside café, sunset at Promthep Cape. All on one tank, no sweat. That's a Scoopy day on Phuket — no plans, no stress, just go.

first time on a bike
★★★★★

Never rode a motorbike before. Rented a Scoopy for two weeks — they delivered it to my hotel and spent ten minutes showing me the basics in the parking lot. An hour later I was riding on my own. The bike forgives everything: stays steady in turns, never stalls on hills. My holiday would've been completely different without it.

couple · a month on the island
★★★★★

We stayed at a villa for a month and the Scoopy was our main transport. Rode together every day — to the market, the beach, up into the hills. Never broke down once. ThaiGo gave us a second helmet for free — that matters when you're always riding two-up.

remote work in Phuket
★★★★★

I work remotely and stayed three months straight. The Scoopy is the perfect choice when all you need is everyday reliability. Morning coffee run, evening ride to the sea. Would rent it again — and I will.

FAQ

Do I need a licence to ride?

For scooters up to 125cc, a category A1 or B licence is enough. For motorcycles over 125cc you need a category A licence. No Thai licence required — an international driving permit will do.

Can I ride with a passenger?

Yes, as long as the bike has a passenger seat and footpegs. All our Comfort-tier scooters and above are suitable for two. We provide a second helmet for free.

What if the bike breaks down?

Call us anytime — we're always available. We'll deliver a replacement within the same day. If the breakdown isn't your fault, the swap is free of charge.
