Yes, basic insurance is included free. Bike Protection — from 500 ฿ per period up to 10 days (~50 ฿/day for 10 days).

Left-hand traffic. Helmet is mandatory (500 ฿ fine). Don't exceed 60 km/h in town.

Officially, police require an international driving permit (category A). For scooters under 125cc checks are rare, but without a license insurance claims get complicated. We recommend getting an IDP before your trip.
